The main goal of the spring season is to expose our athletes to the top competition in their respective age groups by traveling to top local, state and regional tournaments. The spring AAU season is ideal for serious athletes with a specific focus on basketball and elevating their games to the next level. We are looking for committed, hard-working individuals to join our organization for the upcoming spring AAU season. The season commitment will consist of 2 teams practices/week and a minimum of 6 tournaments. Athletes also have the option of attending SPT workouts (Basketball Bootcamp workouts weekly which consist of a combination of fitness, Speed & Agility and Skills and Open Skills Workouts which will have a specific skill focus for an hour) These SPT Workouts are highly recommended, but are not mandatory, as athletes get an opportunity to work on individual strength and skill development. Coaches frequently add local pick-up games or additional practices in between or before big tournaments.

The season will run from March through June. Our teams are based out of both Monmouth and Middlesex counties. We will be using facilities in Red Bank, Rumson and Old Bridge mainly for practices and workouts. We also utilize facilities in Morganville from time to time. Commitment and attendance to team practices and workouts is mandatory, lack of commitment or 2 unexcused absences will lead to immediate dismissal of the team.

Team practices will start March 4th for grades 4-7 and will fall on Monday & Friday evenings in RB

Team practices will start Mar 13th for HS teams and will fall on Wednesday & Thursday evenings in RB or RUmson

We pride ourselves on being NJ's #1 Youth developmental Basketball program. At Fusion Elite we take pride in providing quality coaching. All of our coaches are former collegiate athletes that share the same passion, dedication, commitment and knowledge for the game. Each coach is committed to providing the necessary training; including fundamental skill development that lays the groundwork to excel and succeed at the next level. We take coaching very serious, we ask that parents allow the coaches to do ALL of the coaching while ONLY offering positive feedback. Please give us the opportunity to provide a safe, fun environment that will best help in your athlete’s development.

Team Practice Commitment and attendance to team practices and workouts are required, lack of commitment or 2 unexcused absences will lead to immediate dismissal of the team. Fusion Elite practices are designed to challenge each player. Practice is essential to improving and we believe this is where player and team development and improvement occurs. Teams will practice a minimum of 2 times/week from the months of March - June. Coaches may add team workouts or practices before major tournaments, we will give as much notice as possible. It is expected that every attempt is made to attend every practice & workout, on time. Every attempt will be made to have practices on the same days each week.

Travel: Travel is a part of AAU. Our organization attracts kids from all over Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Practices and workouts for our teams are held out of our Red Bank, Rumson and Old Bridge locations mainly however we do use facilities in Morganville at times. We do our best to stick to the practice schedule once it’s set however changes do happen at times out of our control where we may have to resort to another facility. Tournament travel varies as we participate in local, state and regional tournaments. Tournament travel time can be anywhere from 20 mins to 6 hours away. Tournament games are held on weekends.

By committing to Fusion Elite Basketball for the spring season you are not able to participate with any other AAU organization for the length of the season. We ask that athletes only attend tryouts with the intent on being able to fully commit to all practices & workouts.***Baseball and Lacrosse are HUGE conflicts with our spring season, we are a year round organization and ask that those athletes consider trying out for a different season (summer or winter)***

Our philosophy, great basketball players aren't born, they are developed.

We are looking forward to another competitive, successful AAU season!
